I’m not sure about you, but no matter the size of the bookcase I always seem to be running out of room. Oh sure, reading on the Kindle has helped me to reduce the number of physical books I own. However, there’s still something about owning a physical copy of those books you hold near and dear, especially those signed by the author.
On my burgeoning bookcase there are the books by my favorite authors I can’t seem to part with. And there are the books written by writer friends whom I’m rooting for to become the next NY Times best-selling author. This past year my goal was read at least one book by a debut author. I am continuing that goal for 2026. Then of course, there are books waiting patiently to be read.
